So the topic of today's Exposition Text 📝

Definition 

Exposition text is a text that contains a persuasive and can convince readers of an opinion expressed by the writer on a problem or issue that is being discussed. Beside the opinion, exposition text can also contain the writer's arguments. Exposition text can makes pros and cons about the issues. Of course, this text serves as a means for writers to express opinions along with their arguments in discussing a problem or issue.

Types of Exposition Text

• Analytical Exposition, This text contains the writer's opinion about an event that is strengthened by the author's argument. This type of text is only a means for the author to express his personal opinion, not to change the point of view of the readers.

• Hortatory Exposition, This text also contains the writer's opinion on an issue or problem. The difference is that in this text the author seems to force the readers to agree and even follow his opinion. So, this text tries to divert the reader's point of view with various arguments made by the writer.

The characteristic of the text :

Using simple present tense

Using conjunction

Containing a lot of arguments

Using emotional vocab

Using evaluative words

People are starting to abandon the habit of wearing masks and keeping their distance amid the pandemic that has been going on for nearly nine months. Is it okay to ignore the health protocols? The answer is absolutely no. We should keep obeying the health protocols because the pandemic is not over yet. 

In the early pandemic, most of the people are discipline in obeying the health protocols such as wearing mask, washing hands, and keeping a distance. These days, there is a pandemic fatigue where people are tired of being restricted for months in this pandemic. 

However, this phenomenon cannot be a reason for us to ignore the health protocols. It is because there is no cure yet which to combat the ferocity of the coronavirus. The most important thing that we can do is stick to health protocols so that we can break the chain of virus spread. 

In addition, CDC or Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends us to wear mask since it can prevent us from getting or spreading the virus. 

Therefore, we need to continue to protect ourselves from exposure to the virus for the good of ourselves and others. To overcome fatigue in the midst of a pandemic, we can try to keep in touch with the people closest to us so that we do not feel bored. We should remember that everyone can be exposed to viruses and vaccines still cannot be used, so it is important to always implement health protocols, especially when there is an urgent matter that requires us to leave the house.

Management of trash is very important in Indonesia. As one of the countries with big amount of trash from many sectors, proper management is necessary.

Firstly, it is important to provide healthy environment. When the trash is not managed well, it will create area where bacteria can live.

Moreover, it can cause some health issues, and breathing issues become one of them that can be caused by bed smell of the trash. Furthermore, bad management of trash can lead to flood. When it is not managed well, trash can block the flow of water.

As the result, water debit can increase during the rainy season and the channels of water cannot deliver the water well. That is why it is very important to manage the trash and it is better to promote the recycling process.
